Today the children made their own pancakes.
Layering colours from the rainbow one on top of the other.
Red,
yellow, orange,
green, blue
and purple.
I was concerned about the children spooning the batter into the pan
and touching the hot sides.
So I draped a small cloth over the area
and we had no burns.
For most children this was the first time to use a flipper.
Almost all gone except for the red.
So they made some red pancakes.
A finished rainbow.
It was big so we cut it in half to share with his sister.
"Tasty" was a word I heard to describe the pancake.
They were like works of art.
