What is it? A Guessing Game

Last year I made this guessing game using mini file folders and pictures from magazines.
The idea originated at Childcareland.
Inside is the picture.
A little window is cut on the front so you have a glimpse of the picture.
Clues are there for the grown ups to ask the children.
 Something that I would add, looking at it with fresh eyes, is the answer on the inside so they can see the word.

    super fun idea. I would love to do something similar and make and entire book! Something to do when the kids need to be quiet.

    What a wonferful idea! I am going to start prediction and inferring in a couple of weeks and I was looking for some new ideas. Love it and I have time to create them. I think I will use pictures from Google Images. Can't wait to share it with my teaching partners!

    I think that this is a great way to practice inferencing, even my seventh graders enjoy doing this to change the pace when it comes to test review.
