All last week the art table was covered with materials for the children and grown-ups to create their own flower fairies. Here is a glimpse of how it went.
I was lucky to find a couple of books at a thrift store about flower fairies.
As the children crafted their fairies I encouraged them to name them and
create stories.
Our windowsill is full of fairies waiting.
Waiting for after Spring Break when we will continue writing stories, making homes and getting ready for an art show at a local gallery.
