Splat Monsters

A simple toy from the dollar store was used in this fun art activity.
      
I’m not sure what these are called but I thought they looked like little monsters.
   
                   
But as the children began to use them some thought the marks looked like
                                          fire works.
                 
                         Some thought they looked like sea urchins.
   
    But to others it didn’t matter because it was just fun making them splat.
     
                
                  This child didn’t splat but swirled and smeared.
    
                 
                          One even made them bounce
                   
                             and then turned them into monsters.
