Here are some of trays from the past two weeks.
Ladybugs to sort and clip on the edge of the box
or to each other.
Pinching marbles and moving to suction cups.
Building towers with groundhogs. |
Another great thrift store find.
Matching cards - I cut cards 1-6 (hearts) in half.
Sorting shapes and making patterns. |
Counting hearts into containers or with other beads that were available.
Constructing with various shaped blocks.
Where did you get those blocks? My preschool sidekick would love those!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love the groundhog towers. Hilarious!
The blocks I found at a thrift store in a box called Bangu - not sure if that is a game or not. Was surprised, when I opened it, the variety of blocks that were included.
ReplyDeleteThrift stores are the best resourse for my classroom and making learning trays . i love these blocks also very cool http://abcsofjesshouse.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteThey are fantastic. Just spent the morning browsing through our local stores. Found great strawberries and raspberries to add to our chocolate play dough in the house area.
DeleteI wish our thrift store had cool finds like that. We have mostly clothes and books and small appliances :( Looks like the kids had some really engaging choices.
ReplyDeleteYou always amaze me with your thrift store finds! A groundhog game?! Crazy! I hadn't thought of pinching marbles with scooping tongs. What a good idea. Thank you so much for linking up to WOTT!
ReplyDeleteShhh I think they were really beavers but we called them groundhogs for the occasion.
DeleteAlways keeping my eyes open - should be my motto:)
