Squirt & Blow
For today’s art we pulled out the blow dryers again.
Using eye droppers in water colour the children squirted
paint on to watercolour paper.
Then using the blow dryers they made the paint dance across the paper.
I think they enjoyed the dripping more than the blowing.
I’m also glad I only have three blow dryers. Anymore and
it would be very very noisy.
As some of you may know Google Reader will be shutting down as of July 1st so you can now follow StrongStart via Bloglovin. See link below.

Hi Maureen,
ReplyDeleteThe Blogspot program is shutting down? Completely?
Oh wow! I better figure out what to do...
Joanne
P.S. Continue to enjoy reading your posts.
Hi Joanne
DeleteNo luckily it's not Blogspot that's shutting down but Google Friend Connect. That's how people can follow you.
Oh thank you for the response!
DeleteAre all followers on Blogspot using "google friend connect?" Does this mean we will loose our followers?
Hi Joanne, I'm lucky that my daughters are techy and keeping me up to date so this is what she tells me...
DeleteThere are various ways to follow a blog. Your site seems to have the same ways to follow that mine does.
Google Reader will be ending as of July 1st. It is also speculated but not confirmed that Google Friend Connect will shut down too. So it is in your best interest, to keep your followers up to date on your blog, to give them an alternative like Bloglovin to change to.
This link was shared in another group I belong to http://philbradley.typepad.com/phil_bradleys_weblog/2013/03/20-alternatives-to-google-reader.html
Hope it helps.
Hi Maureen,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
I would have never known any of this!! It's a good thing that I read your blog so closely!
I really appreciate the heads up and support with this,
Joanne
Oh, what a fun way to paint. Unfortunately my daughter is afraid of the hair dryer, so it would not work for her. Thank you for sharing at Sharing Saturday!
ReplyDeleteHi Carrie, there were a few children that were afraid but if we kept it on low they gradually got involved. It would be fun to try with a fan.
