What's in the Tub Tuesday?

Worms in dirt!

I'm surprised that we do not see many worms when we are out on our walks.

I think there are many more birds here, then at my home, to take care of them.

 So I brought in some fake worms.

The littlest ones weren't too sure at first and dropped it.

 Then proceeded to check it out, wiggle it and flip it around.

 Even trying to stretch it.

 I made up a song while they wiggled their worms.

No worms were hurt during this play time.

What's in the Tub Tuesday?

We have new tubs this week and they have dirt in them.

I gave the girls spoons and bowls to play with first

then I brought out some bugs.

It seemed natural to them to put the bugs in the dirt.

Also to pick up the dirt and dump it on the ground.

No problem!

I brought out the little broom for them to use.

I need to get at least one more because they all wanted it.
