Today we did a craft that had no take-home end product.
On the instructions I wrote a few sample questions for each of our 5 senses.
Each time a new family went to the table I could hear these questions or ones similar being asked. It was great the language and the descriptive words that the children were hearing and saying.
First grate the bar of soap.
We also tried using forks and combs to scrape the soap into little pieces.
But the little grater worked the best.
Then add water,
mix,
and make lots of bubbles.
We clumped it,
drew with it,
and painted with it.
These are some of the tools we used.

This is a terrific idea!
ReplyDeleteWe have grated soap before but I had never thought to paint with it. I will definitely try that! Kerri
