Hallowe'en Day

What a fun day we had.
Lots of families dropped by to show off their costumes and play.
Here are a few things we did today.

Costumed rubber ducks swimming in green jello.

Pumpkin carving by hammering holes.

Ghost races.

Blow the ghost balls across the table to the finish line.

Sugar cookie cutting and baking.

Shaving pumpkins.

A favourite - tin foil painting.

Pumpkin puzzles.

A visit with the dental hygienist.

A visit from the grade 2s to share a Hallowe'en poem they've been learning.

And look who we saw during the school's costume parade.
Hope everyone had a fun and safe Hallowe'en.

  1. You are such a genius with all your wonderful ideas ! I wish I lived closer so that I could enroll my kids with you !!! But at least you give me wonderful ideas for homeschooling my kids back in France. And I love reading your daily newsletter. Thank you so much :)). Valerie

  2. Ahh thanks Valerie that's very sweet of you to say. I love this job because it allows the creative juices to flow.
