Cat in the Hat story stones.
Straight from the book.
Patterning while building a Cat in the Hat hat.
Works on eye to hand coordination.
Fine motor skills.
And true Dr Seuss silliness.
Then simply enjoying the story.
Green Eggs and Ham story blocks.
Pictures from the stories taped on the sides of blocks.
Nesting eggs.
Three eggs of various sizes that fit inside each other.
i really like the build-a-hat! did you buy it, or make it?
ReplyDeleteI made them. I found the wooden wheels at a thrift store (you can probably get them at a craft supplier) then painted them and added the dowel to stack.
DeleteSuch cute ideas! Looks like the kids loved them! I especially like the build-a-hat and the story stones!
ReplyDeleteThanks, they were fun to put together.

DeleteThe story stones and story blocks are great! I think I am going to have to make something like that for the next book themed week we do. Pinning this so I remember :) Thanks so much for sharing at WOTT!
