Our final art project for Chinese New Year involved
stencils.
I cut a rooster shape from cardboard and decide to use both the
positive and negative.
Outside and inside.
The outside took a bit of trial and error.
Some children painted the cardboard cut out
but their parent guided them to the edge and encouraged
them to paint around it.
They were surprised when they lifted the stencil.
Painting the inside of the stencil was easier.
After the first day I added q-tips to get in to the smaller areas.
They turned out very colourful.
