Rainbow Sponge Painting

This week we are talking about the weather and especially rainbows.

Today at the art table we painted rainbows using a sponge.
Paint coloured stripes of the rainbow on to your sponge.
Then press it on to your paper.
And swipe it across the paper.
Some swipes didn't go in an arc.
Some painted on the skinny edge of the sponge.
Which left a much smaller rainbow.
But they all turned out beautiful.

  2. Thanks Deborah - it was so easy and beautiful.
It expands the children and parents thinking of what can be used for painting.
