Green Eggs at the Art Table

This year I didn't want to make a green egg craft but wanted
an activity that would be more exploratory.
So I filled green eggs with green jello.
It provided an opportunity to practice cracking eggs open.
They weren't sure what to make of it at first.
But once they figured out how to squeeze the egg open
they did it over and over.

We found toys around the room that were
in the book"Green Eggs and Ham".
Train, fox, goat, car and tree.
She's feeding the tree so it will grow tall.
Her mom talked about what they use at home to help the plants grow
then she gave her a new word "compost".
It feels ooey, gooey, squishing between the fingers.

  2. Thanks for visiting my blog. I came over to visit you and I love this. I have seen those plastic eggs in the shops and been tempted to buy them but I couldn't think what to do with them. This is a fabulous idea.
